Salam brothers & sisters , I need advice urgently , I'm a recently reverted muslim allahumduillah ! My boyfriend is a brought up muslim. Yes i said boyfriend ! Astaffrulahh ! However I'm fed of of living in sin , We love each other beyond discription , we were best mates before we finally fell in love. I think we should do nikah , however there are problems , were young - im 16 he's 18 , other than him and his parents and the sisters I have met at mosque no one knows i am muslim , so i worship in secret. I'm not looking to get discouraging posts , i just want to know if anyone thinks it's kool for us to get married in secret. Thanks in advance. |

Mutah marriage might be an option, or nikah. I would advise against doing things secretly if at all possible. I think your family needs to learn you are Muslim sooner or later so you need to figure out how you will tell them this. In the mean time, you must avoid sinning for your own sake as well as your boyfriend's, let alone that it will only make your situation with your family worth when you tell them the truth. |
